After a delightful respite from the increasing gas costs in July, the consumers in the UAE have to bear a 3% rise in the UAE fuel prices for August 2019. The ministry decreased rates by 10% for July.

Here are the updated UAE fuel prices for August 2019:

  • Super 98: will cost Dh2.37 (Up 3.04% – 7 fils)
  • Special 95: will sell at Dh2.26 (Up 3.6% – 8 fils)
  • Diesel: will cost Dh2.42 (Up 2.9% – 7 fils)

The fuel prices are increasing due to the tension between the US and Iran. Moreover, Opec countries have decided to keep the production volume low.

Regarding the rise in costs, the fuel prices dropped at the start of 2019, and after that, they started climbing until July 2019.
