Introduced at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro is a limited-edition flagship model in the GT sports car lineup. The coupe, which completed the Nurburgring lap in 7.04.632, is built around the GT R but is more responsive and quicker to cut lap times.

Although the GT R Pro has the same engine as available in the GT R, it is quicker due to the lightweight mods, new suspension, and better aerodynamics for additional downforce.

Talking about the power figures, the 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro retains a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 that is good for 577 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. It can reach 96.5 kph in in 3.5 seconds only and hit a top speed of 318 kph.

On the outside, it sports Gloss Light Green stripes on the Selenite Gray Magno exterior or Matte Dark Gray on other exterior paints. Inside, it features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25 touchscreen infotainment display, and a center console.

The 2020 GT R Pro will hit the roads in the last quarter of this year. Those who like an even faster variant should set their eyes on the upcoming GT R Evo.

The automaker will only create 750 examples of this sports car wearing a price tag of $200,645.
