Abu Dhabi Police has started a new campaign on Instagram to make motorists realize the importance of giving way to emergency vehicles and government fleets. The authorities have decided to be very strict on the violators, charging them Dh1,000 and six black points.
“This will further reiterate respect for values and national identity and reflect a civilized image for visitors,” Abu Dhabi Police notice mentions.
Giving way to emergency vehicles makes a big difference in saving lives. On the other hand, when we give way to official convoys, we show our respect for the government which works day and night to make us safe and comfortable.
