Abu Dhabi Motors, the official Rolls-Royce Motor Cars dealership in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, has requested the services of famous British textile designer, Helen Amy Murray, to create a bespoke design for Rolls-Royce Phantom Gallery: Whispered Muse. The Gallery is exclusive to the Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII featuring a genuine application of glass, flowing nonstop across the fascia. To commemorate her inclusion in the Rolls-Royce family, Helen Amy Murray created a masterpiece of dual illusion. She also met with VIP customers to discuss their ideas for their Bespoke Gallery. The visitors invited at a private suhoor held at Manarat Al Saadiyat, also run into Bespoke Designer Michael Bryden – the head of all bespoke projects at Goodwood, UK, the Home of Rolls-Royce.
Talking about her task for The Gallery, Whispered Muse, Helen Amy Murray stated: “On visiting the Home of Rolls-Royce, I was inspired by the ethereal quality of the illustrations of The Spirit of Ecstasy by Charles Sykes. They led me to incorporate the female form into my work; I wanted my Gallery commission to look soft and organic. The subtle spacing of lines brings the draped figure into perspective.”
