With more than 4 decades of experience creating muscle cars, Dodge has brilliantly created the 2019 Charger with the low, lean profile and scalloped body sides. Dodge has a legacy of performance and the 2019 Dodge Charger ticks every box in this department offering the choice of different engines including the standard 3.6L Pentastar® V6 Engine with up to 300 HP and optional 5.7L HEMI® V8, 392 HEMI V8, and Supercharged 6.2L HEMI SRT Hellcat V8. We recently got a chance to test drive the 2019 Dodge Charger GT variant and below are our findings:

The Charger is available in a number of variants namely SXT, GT, R/T, R/T SCAT PACK, and SRT HELLCAT. The 2019 Dodge Charger GT retains a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 Engine creating 300 horsepower.

On the outside, we find the imposing grille, power bulge hood, seamless LED racetrack taillamp, available one-piece satin black performance spoiler (standard on the Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack), heated mirrors, capless fuel filler door, rain-sensing windshield wipers, LED fog lamps, standard LED Daytime Running Lamps and Bifunctional Halogen Projector Headlamps or High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Headlamps, depending on the model.

The 2019 Dodge Charger GT is built to impress offering a number of driver-selectable steering modes, paddle shifters, adaptive cruise control with stop, tilt and telescoping steering column, and performance-inspired shifter. Its interior is a place where style, comfort, and technology meet. The car can comfortably seat five and give them a royal treatment thanks to heated and ventilated front seats, and dual-zone automatic temperature control.

The 2019 Dodge Charger GT also excels in the safety and security department featuring full speed forward collision warning with active braking, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring with rear cross path detection, solid safety frame, side guard door beams, and active front head restraints.

Besides all these extraordinary features, Dodge also offers a number of heart-pounding packages for those who want to kick things up a notch.
