To celebrate the month of generosity, GMC has initiated GMC Donation Drive in association with Emirates Red Crescent to distribute charity among the needy.
GMC is using a truck to collect and distribute these donations, which will travel across all Emirates. Anyone interested in offering a donation can find the truck according to the itinerary given below.
The donation drive truck schedule:
- Sharjah – May 9th to May 11th
- Ajman – May 12th
- Umm Al Quwain – May 13th
- Ras al Khaimah – May 14th
- Fujairah – May 15th
- Dubai – May 16th to May 29th
- Abu Dhabi – May 30th to June 3rd
While some of these donations will be distributed across UAE, rest will go to “Mrajeeb Al Fhood Camp” in Jordan. Emirates Red Crescent is responsible to carry out all these distributions.
Items Accepted for Donation
Those who want to participate in GMC Donation Drive can donate new clothes, blankets, books, toys, and appliances. These things will be forwarded directly to Mrajeeb Al Fhood Camp in Jordan. The same items can be donated in used form but ‘used items’ must be in good condition. These will be delivered to needy people in Labor Camps in the UAE.
Those who like to donate through cash can present their contribution to Emirates Red Crescent.
