MICHELIN has updated their Pilot Sport Tires range with the addition of the new MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup2 R and MICHELIN Pilot Sport4 SUV. MICHELIN invited Motoraty in South Africa (SA) to analyze and test these tires. Our CEO, Mr. Johny Giacaman accepted the offer and flew to the MICHELIN factory in SA. Mr. Johny has also reviewed each tire and test drove an SUV sporting Piolot Sport4 to understand the true capabilities of this tire. He also visited the MICHELIN factory to see the manufacturing processes of these durable tires.

The Pilot Sport Tires range is already being used by more than 200 performance cars around the world and has achieved many circuit records (Porsche GT2 RS and GT3 RS, fitted with MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup2 R tires, has set 3 records on the famous Nordschleife of the Nürburgring in the last 2 years). The new tires are designed for SUVs, trucks and sports cars and offer drivers optimum driving pleasure in the safest way possible.

The new tire works great for SUVs and all types of 4X4 vehicles giving them the control and stability at high-speed maneuvers. The manufacturer has used its entire experience in motorsports to create the safest and high-performance tires.
The MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup2 R is specifically designed for motorists to achieve ultimate performance on the track. The manufacturer took help from the performance car makers like Porsche and Ferrari to offer supreme grip on dry circuits. The tire delivers excellent grip around corners. MICHELIN analyzed and found this tire offers 0.5 sec/km better time on a circuit.
