At the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire stunned the audience owing to its extraordinary dazzling looks. Ironically, the car at the show did not have an engine and the finished interior. The one-off supercar will take at least two years to be fully ready.
When ready, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire will have the famous 8.0-liter, quad-turbo W-16 borrowed from the Chiron creating 1,480 horsepower. At the show, the concept car had an electric powertrain, which is the reason why it was so quiet moving forward.
The supercar has some resemblance to the Type 57SC Atlantic, which Bugatti developed between 1936 and 1938. Some of these include the dorsal line, six exhaust tips, and a taillight strip linking up to rear fenders. The front face appears similar to Chiron.
Once complete, it will be one of the world’s most expensive cars wearing a price tag of $12.4 million (excluding tax). Some channels term it the most expensive in the world beating the Rolls-Royce Sweptail, which was valued at $12.8 million.
