Juma Al Majid Est., the sole supplier of Genesis in the UAE, has started offering the new Genesis G70 with added safety features. The car initially went on sale in May last year. The ISOFIX, VSM, and AEB are included on demand of customers in the Emirates who value safety. The Royal, Platinum and Premium versions already feature seven airbags Dual front for Driver and front passenger. However, the new ISOFIX adds another layer of safety for children. ISOFIX is an international standard for attachment points for child safety seats in passenger cars. Because of these features and lots of other technologies, the Genesis G70 has won 2019 North American Car of the Year award.
Another added safety feature, the Vehicle Stability Management assists drivers to tackle any demanding situation by optimizing the function of active safety features. The Genesis G70 also boasts front and rear sensors and a rear camera for a seamless driving experience. The BAS (brake assist system) is also available that increases braking pressure in an emergency.
The Royal and Platinum versions of the Genesis G70 come with another value-added safety feature in shape of AEB (autonomous emergency braking). The system observes traffic and road situations in advance for signs of an imminent crash, so offering ample reaction time. Other standard safety facilities include Driver Attention Warning, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision-avoidance Assist, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go.
Apart from these new safety features, the sports luxury sedan also comes equipped with xenon headlamps, leather upholstery, and LED rear combination lamps.
