The 2019 Lamborghini Super Trofeo, the one-make championship season has started in Dubai with a new format for the Middle East. The races are scheduled for two consecutive weekends in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Dubai and Abu Dhabi will host three races for each leg of competition on 15-16 February and 22-23 February respectively. The winning teams will directly go to the World Final, which will organize on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in Spain on 26 and 27 October.

There will be two qualifying rounds and three races at the Dubai Autodrome. Yesterday, we saw 20 Huracán Super Trofeo Evo cars racing in the morning qualifying sessions. The 50-minute-long Race 1 was held at 14:35 hrs. Today, we will witness Race 2 and Race 3 in the morning and the afternoon respectively.

For Abu Dhabi, the races will be held at Yas Marina F1 Circuit. There will be three races in four categories (Pro, Pro-Am, Am and Lamborghini Cup). The winners will progress straight to the World Final for the first time.
