After showing us a teaser image couple of months back, the Japanese automaker has unveiled the updated 2019 Mitsubishi Triton (L200) truck. Although it will be sold in 150 countries including the Middle East, North America will not receive it due to some reasons. It is being built in Thailand where it is going to hit the showrooms on November 17. Mitsubishi plans to sell 180,000 units worldwide every year.

Seeing the pictures of 2019 Mitsubishi Triton, it is evident the truck has received a new design direction, which is also a part of Outlander, Eclipse Cross and relaunched Lancer. Mitsubishi calls the front design “Dynamic Shield” encompassing a more asserted grille-intake combination with chrome elements. Other than that most of the design is similar to the previous model.

The engine options include a 2.4L gasoline and two inline-four diesel units. Customers also have a choice of two four-wheel-drive systems namely Super Select and Easy Select.

There are a few options in the Middle East when it comes to small trucks and Triton has a good chance to grab its fair share in this market.
