The 2019 Acura NSX made an appearance at the Monterey Car Week in California. The Japanese brand did not waste too much time upgrading the hybrid supercar, which revived in 2017 after a hiatus of about 15 years. However, the visual changes are hardly noticeable if we compare it to the 2017 model. The grille covering now bathes in body color as well as the front air intake and the rear bumper mesh.

Perhaps, the most distinctive upgrade is the introduction of a new body paint. The new NSX discerns with its Thermal Orange Pearl color. The buyers can also opt for orange colored ceramic brakes to match the overall theme of the sports car or red colored iron brakes.

On the inside, the orange contrasts well with an Indigo blue color theme, which follows onto the semi-aniline leather seats and the door handles. Furthermore, navigation, ELS studio premium audio, parking sensors, and powered seats are now standard.

Under the hood, the 3.5-liter V6 engine combines with the tri-motor hybrid system to make 573 horsepower and 476 lb-ft of torque while being mated to a 9-speed dual clutch transmission.

While the price has increased by $1,500 from the previous model, Acura reassures buyers that the increase is justified given the company has added $4,500 worth of amenities as standard. The 2019 Acura NSX has a base price of $159,300.
