Hyundai is bringing an exciting limited-edition Hyundai Kona Iron Man crossover to the San Diego Comic-Con this year. The vehicle is not just for show, it will go into production later this year.
Following the color palette of Iron Man’s suit, the crossover has a grey and red matte finish with Iron Man’s face embossed on the roof. The front fender, rear doors, D-pillars and headlights all have special Iron Man related theme work. The 18-inch alloy rims also have the Iron Man helmet as center caps.
The theme follows inside featuring similar grey and red hues. The shift stick has a special appearance and the seats are customized according to the Iron Man theme. To top that off, the instrument panel has been graced with Tony Stark’s signature, making this crossover SUV a unique. Even the heads-up display, instrument panel, and touchscreen infotainment system have gotten a unique Iron Man touch.
Enthusiasts associate Iron Man with speed and power, therefore a fast car like the Audi R8 would be a better fit for such a theme to work. However, the Hyundai Kona Iron Man does a fairly good job of disguising itself as an impressive looking vehicle. Hyundai will start taking orders for this special crossover SUV from December and deliveries will start by early 2019.
The automotive brand was tight-lipped about the price and the number of vehicles it will make but it did say that the vehicle will be sold worldwide.
