The 2019 Ford Edge ST performance crossover that replaces the 2018 Edge Sport variant is now available in dealerships for an extra $1,585. The new model from Ford pumps out more horsepower and offers various performance packages.

Underneath the hood of the Edge ST is a 2.7-liter Ecoboost twin-turbo V6 making 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft torque. This output is slightly better than Edge Sport’s 315 hp and 350 lb-ft torque with the same engine. The better-tuned engine is mated to a brand-new 8-speed automatic transmission, which is designed to accommodate higher revs at lower gears giving the driver quicker acceleration.

For those customers who yearn for more, they can opt for Equipment Group 401A package or a performance brake package. Additionally, buyers can opt for summer 21-inch tires to go with the beautiful rims. The brake package costs $2,695 and adds larger rotors to the front while the rotors on the rear remain the same size. The Equipment Group package that costs $5,585 adds a front 180-degree camera, hands-free liftgate, navigation, and Ford’s new Co-Pilot360 Assist+ suite of electronic driver aids.

The price for the 2019 Ford Edge ST starts from $43,350 including delivery.
