The pricing details for the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe have been released making the crossover slightly more expensive than the outgoing model. The new Santa Fe starts at $26,480 which is $550 more than the 2018 model. Hyundai has altered the name of Santa Fe Sport to simply Santa Fe for the 2019 model.
The name is not the only thing changed by the automaker. With the inclusion of 17-inch alloy wheels and a 7-inch infotainment system, the standard 2019 Santa Fe gets lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability, high-beam assist, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, among other features.
Upgrading to the SEL trim gets buyers heated front seats, proximity key with push-button start, fog lights, and a 7-inch TFT LCD instrument cluster for $28,580. Going up a notch brings the SEL Plus trim which comes with a few extra features such as larger tires while being valued at $30,780.
Underneath the hood of all three models mentioned above is a powerful 2.4-liter 4-cylinder unit producing 185 hp and 178 lb-ft torque. The Limited trim gets a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder powertrain that makes 235 hp and 260 lb-ft torque. The premium Ultimate variant allows buyers any of the two engines.
The Limited trim is priced at $35,180 while the Ultimate trim comes at $36,430 or $38,080 depending on the choice of engine.
The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe will go on sale in the 2nd quarter of 2018. The 2018 Santa Fe starts at AED 74,900 in the UAE.
