Audi is back with the second-generation 2019 Audi A1 Sportback. The Mini rival is built to be suitable for urban roads where drivers are cramped for space. It is exactly 158.4 inches long and 68.4 inches wide, which makes it an easy fit on crowded city roads. There are various engine options available that are capable to create varied outputs ranging from 95 hp to 200 hp.

Audi has marketed the vehicle having all the amenities one would find in a more expensive vehicle. The A1 gives the option of three equipment lines: Basic, Advanced and S Line. Inside the Sportback is a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and LTE Support. A 560-watt Bang & Olufsen 11-speaker sound system also packs a punch.

The safety features include a lane departure warning system, an adaptive cruise control, a speed limiter, reverse parking sensors, and an automatic parking system. The Audi pre-sense front is also a part of the Audi A1 which warns the driver of collisions while braking the car if required. Furthermore, this system can close windows, trigger the hazard lights and electronically tighten the seatbelts for extra safety.

The 2019 Audi A1 Sportback will go into production by Autumn of 2018 with prices starting from 20,000 Euros. There are no details regarding its release in the UAE yet. However, we know it’s not coming to the US.
