Mercedes-Benz has expanded options for its E-class buyers with the introduction of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E450. Replacing the E400, the new model will be available in sedan, cabriolet, coupe and wagon body styles in both rear and all-wheel drive.

A bigger number in the Mercedes model names depicts more power. That’s also true for the E450 which gets a boost in power. The engine is the same found in the E400 i.e. a 3.0-liter dual turbo V6, however, it has been beefed up to produce 362 to and 369 lb-ft, an improvement from the E400’s 329 hp and 354 lb-ft torque.

Furthermore, there have been cosmetic changes to the interior like the introduction of the three-spoke Nappa leather steering that gives drivers access to all the driver assist systems through the steering buttons. There is also a speed adaptation system found in the 2018 S-class.

There are other options available in the exterior like the 19-inch AMG tires that accompany the Night Package.

The Mercedes-Benz E450 goes on sale later this year as a 2019 model with prices probably marginally different from 2018’s $53,945.
