To make its mark in the competitive global car market, Aston Martin’s performance sub-brand AMR recently improved the Vantage and the Valkyrie. Their latest creation, the 2019 DB11 AMR, was introduced 3 days ago before the start of the prestigious Nürburgring 24-hour racing event.

This flagship 2019 DB11 AMR hosts the same engine as the older model, which was a dual-turbo 5.2-liter V-12, however, AMR has boosted the power output by 30 hp to come to a total of 630hp, while the 516 lb-ft of torque is unchanged. The added power allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, which is fast but not significant considering the regular DB11 achieves the feat in 3.8 seconds. The car can reach a top speed of 208 mph.

In addition, the chassis is enhanced by the head engineer, Matt Becker, himself, so the car feels a better connection with the road. The exhaust system has been upgraded for a better sound in Sport mode. The exterior of this DB11 AMR sports a mixture of carbon-fiber and gloss black paintwork. The buyers can choose from 3 bespoke Designer Specifications.

The interior is graced with brownish leather and Alcantara padding with matching lime colored stripes on the comfy seats and a leather steering wheel, both as standard. However, the limited-edition has add-ons such as model Dark Knight leather and lime accents, Satin Dark Chrome switchgear, as well as a Satin Carbon-Fiber trim.

To woo customers even further, Aston Martin will release a limited-edition version with AMR’s recognizable Stirling Green color, of which only 100 examples shall be produced.

The 2019 DB11 AMR is available for pre-order with deliveries starting from mid-2018 and prices starting from $241,000.
