The German automaker has unveiled the wagon model for the 2019 Audi A6 termed as ‘Avant’. The 2019 Audi A6 Avant is believed to reach Europe later this year, however, we do not know regarding its launch in the United States.
The most notable feature of the 2019 Audi A6 Avant is the increased cargo space of 20 cubic feet which can be further expanded to 59.3 cubic feet by pulling down the rear seats. The tailgate and the trunk are operated electrically. By paying a little extra, customers can also opt for the sensor control which will allow opening the tailgate without using hands. A standard rail system along with a net, two hooks, and a tensioning strap is also available. Moreover, by paying extra, customers can install the load-securing kit with telescopic bar and straps to allow them to create individual sections on the trunk.
The interior is roomier compared to previous A6 Avant and is loaded with latest technologies such as dual-touch displays and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
Powering the 2019 A6 Avant will be a 3.0-liter turbocharged unit with mild hybrid system paired to a seven-speed S Tronic delivering 340 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft of torque.
We are not sure when the Avant will arrive in the Middle East.
