Renault Middles East has unveiled a lease plan for the new all-electric Renault ZOE Long Range model making it easier for customers to buy an electric car and contribute to the environment. The lease plan will last for 4 years where the customer has to pay AED 2,380 per month. This would also bring on the table a free home-charging station, manufacturer warranty, servicing package and registration fees.
Known to be a pioneer in the electric car market, Renault was the first company to bring a 100% electric car to the Middle East. The Renault ZOE Long Range hit the markets here in November 2017 offering an exceptional 300 KM drive range on a single charge.
Talking about the lease plan, Marwan Haidamous, Renault Middle East Managing Director, said “As the trail blazers in electric mobility in the Middle East and the market leader for electric vehicles in Europe, we are continuously looking at ways to make electric motoring accessible to everyone. We believe this scheme is the most competitive electric vehicle lease package currently on the market, and it’s another great example of Renault delivering an ‘Easy Life’ to its Middle East customers.
With the charging infrastructure in the Middle East growing, and in Dubai, new initiatives from the Supreme Energy Council rewarding EV owners with free public charging until 2019, as well as an array of other benefits like free parking, there is no better time to take a leap of faith and go electric.”
The Renault ZOE is a small city hatchback with a modern design that oozes zero emission attributes inside out. The electric badge, Z.E. signature headlamps with daytime running lights and rear lights all have subtle blue design hints.
On the inside, it has a touch-screen center console which can be used to adjust climate control, multi-media music and entertainment, and driving performance statistics. A 30-minute charge can provide 80 kilometers of range, which is sufficient for a days’ city driving.
