The 2018 Formula 1 Championship is about to kickoff and the Italian automaker has introduced its challenger the new Alfa Romeo Sauber C37. Talking about the car, Frédéric Vasseur, Team Principal, said the team has put a lot of effort and hard work in the development of the new C37.

Regarding the aerodynamics of the Alfa Romeo Sauber C37, Jörg Zander, Technical Director stated the C37 comes with some major aerodynamic updates compared to the C36. It also incorporates some new features which were not found in the C36. The powertrain has been upgraded as well for a much faster and powerful performance.

Some of the changes in the C37 are also due to the new technical regulations; for example, the introduction of the halo cockpit protection system and the removal of shark fin and T-wings.

This season, the Alfa Romeo-Sauber F1 Team features Marcus (Ericsson) and Charles (Leclerc). Marcus is an experienced F1 racer and this will be his fourth season with the Sauber team. However, Charles is a rookie but his proven record has earned him a position in the Sauber team.

The 2018 Formula 1 Season will officially kickoff on 25th March with the first race scheduled in Australia.
