Italdesign Giugiaro, an Italian design, and engineering company celebrated their 50th birthday last week with an announcement, offering a new Italdesign ZeroUno Roadster, which will be arriving next month at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.

The Italdesign ZeroUno is a high-end performance oriented supercar and an open-top version of the ZeroUno, which was revealed by the company last year during the Geneva Motor Show. In terms of design, the ZeroUno Roadster somewhat seems to resemble the Lamborghini Veneno and that isn’t surprising considering the fact that the lead designer of the firm, Filippo Perini was the former head of the Lamborghini design department.

Just like the previous ZeroUno, the roadster is also built on the chassis of Audi R8 V10 Plus, which delivers 610 horsepower, thanks to the 5.2-liter V-10 engine. This engine will enable the supercar to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 329.9 km/h. The entire body of the Italdesign ZeroUno Roadster is made from carbon fiber to keep the weight low and improve aerodynamics.

The Roadster will definitely be available in limited numbers with an expected price tag exceeding 2 million dollars.
