Like every year, Western Motors – a member of ALFAHIM and the authorized distributor of Jeep in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi – is arranging their annual Jeep Jamboree this year as well on February 23rd, 2018. The event is organized in collaboration with Eastern Motors which is a sister company of Western Motors.
The Jeep Jamboree is open to all drivers owning Jeep vehicles and are interested in off-roading activities. The event is open to families, and besides off-roading, there will be entertainment for both kids and adults. The venue is Al Badeyah Eyes Tourism Camp on the Abu Dhabi Al-Ain road.
The Jeep Jamboree event is continuing since 1953. It was first organized by off-roading legend Mark A. Smith when he took his old Rubicon Trail across the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The Western and Eastern Motors have kept this tradition alive in the UAE by organizing the event annually. This year, more than 600 participants have registered and about 200 vehicles are expected to take part in Jeep Jamboree. The venue has been segregated based on the expertise of the driver. Moreover, Marshals from Abu Dhabi 4×4 Club will be present as well to train the beginners.
