A refreshed and facelifted model of the new 2018 Jeep Renegade is about to arrive soon and spy photographers have managed to take photographs of the compact SUV testing somewhere in the Arctic Circle.
Of course, the Jeep Renegade was camouflaged but we noticed the SUV will feature changes on the bumpers, front grille, headlights and the taillights. The rear-profile is seen to be heavily concealed as well suggesting changes would be made at the back too.
More prominent changes will be found inside, as leaked photos show the Jeep Renegade will feature a huge infotainment display positioned on the center stack. The buttons are repositioned below the infotainment display and not on the sides. The lower part of the center stack has been redesigned to accommodate the controls, driver assist buttons, stereo controls and the climate controls.
The automaker may also add a manual transmission to the 2018 Jeep Renegade for the U.S. market. No information has been disclosed or leaked regarding the powertrain or performance updates but we might soon see some official announcement from Jeep. Considering these mild updates, we can expect the new Jeep Renegade to arrive by the end of this year or early next year.
