After the Concept One Electric supercar, a new Rimac Electric Supercar is planned for next year debut at the 2018 Geneva Auto Show. The Concept One boasted a phenomenal specification but the new electric supercar will be even more powerful. The automaker has also revealed a teaser image, which looks similar to the Concept One.
Talking to Autocar, the automaker mentioned that the new Rimac Electric Supercar’s production will be limited to just 100 units. Official words also suggest it will be available in open-top body configuration.
The Concept One electric car was powered by a 1,088 horsepower engine, which allowed the sports car to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 220 mph. The Rimac electric supercar will definitely feature specification even better than the Concept One.
The new Rimac Electric Supercar will also extend an improved range and we speculate it will rival against the newly introduced Tesla Roadster.
The price tag for the Concept One electric car was $980,000, while the new electric car will be more expensive.
Rimac is also expanding its operations and opening up five new retailers in the United States.
