The Saudi traffic department is stepping up to impound vehicles parked in spaces reserved for people with disabilities. On Friday, they impounded 571 vehicles in different areas. This was the second field operation in this regard.
The campaign was started on the orders of Brig. Gen. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Bassami, director general of the traffic department, the main purpose of which is to create a society of reverence for the rights of disabled.
The authorities are seeking the cooperation of the people in this regard and won’t spare any violator.
Previously, the traffic division of Al-Qurayyat impounded 12 vehicles that were using parking facility for disabled people.
