Following examples of other Emirates, the authorities have also decided to offer 50% discount on traffic fines in Fujairah. The discount was offered under the ruling of Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamad bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.
The rebate on traffic fine will be valid from November 25, 2017, to January 4, 2018. The initiative is taken to celebrate the Year of Giving and in the event of 46th UAE National Day. It will make the motorists happy by unburdening them from the fines they have accumulated over the year.
Major General Mohammad Ahmad Bin Ghanim Al Ka’abi, Commander-in-chief of Fujairah police told media that this plan will uphold the civic safety by dissuading breaches of traffic laws.
The 50% discount on traffic fines in Fujairah will be applicable to penalties executed before November 20.
Major General Al Ka’abi clarified that the discount will encompass all types of penalties issued by police, containing confiscation of vehicles.
He advised all drivers to not miss this opportunity and abide by traffic laws.
