The new 2019 Ram 1500 is scheduled to make its debut at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show, however, the automaker is still not finished with the current 2018 model and has just introduced a new special edition dubbed as the 2018 Ram 1500 Hydro Blue Edition.
The 2018 Ram 1500 Hydro Blue edition boasts a unique blue color exterior paint along with a blue-colored front fascia which comprises of a sport grille, black billet inserts, black decals, and large “RAM” badge on the front grille. The side mirrors, front, rear bumper, and the door handles are also painted in blue. The 4×2 model can be equipped with optional 22-inch wheels while 4×4 model sports 20-inch wheels as standard.
On the inside as well, the 2018 Ram 1500 Hydro Blue edition follows a black and blue theme. The headrests feature blue embroidery while the doors also include blue detailing. Customers can also opt for full leather seating at an additional cost.
Powering the Ram 1500 Hydro Blue edition will be a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine and it will only be available in the Crew Cab configuration. The automaker will build only 2,000 examples of the special edition truck and the starting price will be $47,455, including destination charges.
