The Ajman Municipality has seized1845 dumped vehicles from different regions of the city since the start of the year. The initiative was taken to preserve the city’s beauty and splendor.
A senior representative from the Ajman Municipality told the initiative was taken on the orders of Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, chairman of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, to eliminate all types of routines that mars the exquisiteness of the city.
“The inspection will continue until vehicle owners comply with the rules and regulations that motorists should not to leave their cars in public places without permission or leave them for long periods without cleaning.
“The dusty cars on roads would affect the aesthetic image of the city and would be used as shelter for criminals to carry out illegal activities and crime.”
