The Nissan Leaf Nismo is scheduled to be unveiled in a few weeks at the Tokyo Motor Show, but the automaker couldn’t wait to share the details with the fans and has previewed the performance electric car completely undisguised. Nissan has already launched the new Leaf.
Talking about the design, as with every Nismo vehicle, the Nissan Leaf Nismo sports an aggressive body with the brand’s signature white and red color theme. The exterior design is not just attractive, Nismo also promises high aerodynamic efficiency.
On the inside, the Nissan Leaf Nismo is almost the same as the regular Leaf except the sexy red accent. According to the official press release, the Leaf Nismo will benefit from a sport-tuned suspension system, high-performance tires and a custom-tuned computer system with improved throttle response, which will deliver “instant acceleration at all speeds”.
The automaker has not mentioned anything regarding powertrain upgrade, so it might be possible that the Leaf Nismo will only feature aesthetic updates.
The Leaf Nismo will be shown in the concept form at the Tokyo Motor Show and it’s unclear at the moment whether it will enter production or not. More details will be revealed after 21st October.
