Brabus never fails to amaze the motor enthusiasts with their insane creations. This time, the tuning company redeveloped the Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabrio and G65, both of which were displayed at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The S65 Cabrio has been reinterpreted as the Brabus 900 Rocket and it is powered by a 6.3-liter V-12 engine whose power output has been increased by 267 horsepower.

The engine delivers a total of 900 metric horsepower (888 hp) and 1,106 lb.-ft of torque. Reports suggest the torque would be reduced to 885 lb.-ft due to reliability issues. The automaker mentioned the Brabus 900 Rocket will be capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, galloping to 217 mph top speed.

On the other hand, the upgraded G65, titled as ‘Brabus 900’ also carries the same unit as the Rocket 900 with additional lightweight and strong carbon fiber body elements including LED roof lamps, spoiler, and 23-inch forged wheels.

Brabus will build only 10 examples of the upgraded G-Class with each unit priced at $800,000. It will definitely be loved by the off-roaders in the Middle East, but we can’t say for sure if it will arrive here or not.
