A few days back, the German automaker revealed a fully undisguised photo of the upcoming Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar, and now, a teaser image has been released giving us a hint about the car’s exterior design.

Unlike every other Mercedes model which features the three-pointed star logo up front and in a vertical position, the logo on the Project One hypercar appears to be lying flat against the body. Talking about the side profile, the hypercar definitely looks beautifully sculpted, while the stretched rear profile further adds to the overall sporty persona of the Project One hypercar.

Powering the Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar will be a Formula One derived, turbocharged 1.6L V6 engine paired with four electric motors. The total combined output is expected to be 1,000 horsepower (986 bhp), while the top speed will be around 350 km/h (217 mph). An official word suggests the engine’s life will be about 31,000 miles and would require a rebuilt afterward.

Mercedes will build 275 units of the Project One hypercar and each of them will cost $2.45 million. It will make its public appearance at the Frankfurt Auto Show in mid-September, while the deliveries to the customers will begin from mid-2019.
