The 2017 International Motor Show is just a month away exciting the hearts of the fans by every passing day. Seems the German automaker is also excited and has released teaser shots of its upcoming 2018 Mercedes S-Class Cabriolet.

The 25-second teaser video does not reveal much except showing the front grille, side mirrors, the fancy drop-top roof and some interior elements. Comparing it with the sedan version, the S-Class Cabriolet boasts a sleeker profile with a sharp front grille and a protruding Mercedes logo.

The interior seems to be equipped with two new 12.3-inch touch displays, luxurious leather seats, and an upgraded steering wheel. Reports also indicate the S-Class Cabriolet will have additional tech features such as the Energizing Comfort system.

The engine choice will most likely be the same as offered in the sedan version, so we can expect a 3.0-liter twin-turbo developing 362 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft of torque in the base model. The upper trims will be powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo unit producing 463 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The range-topping AMG S63 model will be equipped with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine spitting out 603 horsepower and 664 lb.-ft of torque.

More details regarding the interior and pricing will be disclosed near the debut date, so stay tuned.
