The 2018 Nissan Leaf is scheduled to debut on September 6, 2017, however a prototype model has been caught during a photoshoot in Barcelona and that too without any disguise. A few months back, the 2018 Nissan Leaf was caught testing, although it was camouflaged at that time. Moreover, the automaker has already revealed teaser images giving us a hint about the Leaf’s LED projection headlights and other front elements.
What we know so far about the 2018 Leaf is that it will feature the V-Motion grille and the floating roof design from the Nissan IDS concept, which was showcased back in 2015 at the Tokyo Auto Show.
In the tech department, the new Nissan Leaf is reported to feature an e-Pedal, which will allow the driver to accelerate and brake with the same pedal. Moreover, the 2018 Leaf will include Nissan’s ProPilot Suite with certain autonomous driving features on single-lane highway driving. It will also allow the car to park itself in some situations.
Reports indicate the 2018 Nissan Leaf will offer a range between 200 and 250 miles, which will make it rank above its competitors including the Tesla Model 3 and Chevrolet Bolt EV.
