The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo made its public debut a few months back at the Geneva Motor Show and now it is in production mode. It is being built at the automaker’s plant in Leipzig, Germany. If you remember, we shared with you the spy shots in November last year.

The Leipzig factory was recently expanded, as Porsche made a €500 million ($582M) investment in order to setup a new body shop facility, especially for the Panamera model lineup, as well as a new quality control center. The Leipzig facility became operational in 2002, and last year it produced a total of 158,432 cars. It also includes two test tracks; a 3.7-km race track and a 6-km off-road track. The same facility is also responsible to build Porsche Macan and Cayenne SUV.

Talking about the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo, it will be available in four variants namely. Panamera 4 Sport Turismo with 330 horsepower, 4S Turismo Sport with 440 horsepower, E-Hybrid Sport Turismo with 456 horsepower and the range-topping Turbo Sport Turismo with 542 horsepower. With the optional Sport Chrono Package, the Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo will go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 188 mph.

The base model starts from $97,250, while the range-topping variant will cost $155,050.
