The new limited edition Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon was first showcased this year at the Geneva Motor Show and now it has hit the dealerships in the UK.
The Rubicon Recon is based on the outgoing Wrangler Rubicon, but features some impressive new updates such as 18-inch Low Gloss Granite Crystal alloy wheels, a dual-vented power dome hood, a trail rated logo along with a black fuel filler cap and a black spare tire cover.
On the inside, the cabin boasts a black and red color theme. The black heated leather seats feature red stitching and a Rubicon Logo. The front door arm rest is covered in black vinyl, while the seat belts have red accent. Additionally, the steering wheel is muffled in black leather and red stitching.
The new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon is available in both two- and four- door configurations. It is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 petrol engine that delivers 284 horsepower allowing the Jeep to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.9 seconds. The top speed stands at 112 mph. The automaker has also added stronger front axle and heavy-duty cast rear differential covers for an improved off-road performance.
It will be offered in three exterior colors including Gobi, Bright White and Granite Crystal. The pricing will start from £40,505 for the two-door version, while the four door variant will cost £42,175. We cannot confirm right now, when the Rubicon Recon will arrive in the UAE.
