Till now, the Nissan ProPILOT technology was only available in the vehicles sold in Japan, but now it will be offered in the cars sold in the international markets. Although, ProPILOT technology cannot be compared to the Tesla’s Autopilot, yet it provides drivers a spectacular driving experience on the highways. ProPILOT works on the single-lane highway situations by automatically braking, accelerating and maintaining a proper distance between the cars. It does not feature a lane-changing function, but Nissan plans to upgrade the system’s autonomous capabilities in the coming years.

Nothing more we know about the 2018 Nissan Leaf, however we do know that it will be boasting a range between 200 and 250 miles. Talking about the Leaf’s competitor, the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV extends a range of 238 miles and costs $30,000.

Nevertheless, the Nissan Leaf is still the best-selling electric vehicle around the globe. The automaker has sold more than 260,000 units since its launch in 2019.
