The successor to 5 Series Gran Turismo is here in the form of 2018 BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo and it is definitely much better, faster and beautifully designed.
The 2018 BMW 6 Series GT rides on the same platform as the 5 Series GT, however the length of the wheelbase has been increased by 3.8 inches. Moreover, the automaker claims the overall weight of the car has been reduced by 150 kilograms.
For the North American market, the 2018 BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo will be available with a turbocharged 3.0-liter, inline-six cylinder gasoline engine developing 335 hp and 332 pounds-feet of torque. This engine will allow the car to run from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.1 seconds.
Besides the robust powertrain, the 6 Series GT will also boast an array of latest technologies such as remote control parking and an updated 10.25 inch touch screen display. Customers can also opt for the comfort seat package, which includes comfortable seats with eight different massage functions.
The pricing for the 2018 BMW 6 Series GT will start from $70,695 including destination charges. We cannot confirm right now whether it will arrive here in the Middle East or not.
