Both the 2018 Ford F-150 Pickup and the 2018 Ford Expedition were introduced earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show. Although the automaker revealed some vital information regarding the vehicles, the power output was unknown until now. But that has just been changed!

Ford says, the 2018 Ford F-150 will carry a new naturally aspirated 3.3-liter V-6 engine which will develop 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. The unit found in the current 2017 model features port injection technology, while the new 3.3L V6 in the 2018 model would feature a dual port and direct injection system.

Customers can also go for the 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine with port and direct injection. It delivers 295 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.

The range-topping 5.0L V8 engine also features port and direct injection and yields 395 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. All the engines will be paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission system.

On the other hand, the 2018 Ford Expedition will be available with just one powertrain choice, which is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost spitting out 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

The automaker will also introduce an FX4 Off-Road Package for the new Expedition, offering a spectacular off-road performance.
