Where automakers are offering big deals on car purchase, Ajman police is commemorating the year of giving with 50% discount on traffic fines, which has been applicable since May 27.
Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdallah Al Nuaimi, commander-in-chief of Ajman Police announced this offer and also told that this discount will last till June 24. The concession is valid on all violations committed before May 21 except jumping a red signal and reckless driving. Modified cars with added power and noise won’t benefit from this concession.
“Payment of reduced fine should be done through the smart application of Ajman Police or the Ministry of Interior as this will be the only accepted method of payment to get a reduction. The decision of reducing the value of fines is a motive to encourage erring motorist to pay accumulated fines and is an initiative by the police to ensure the happiness of clients while encouraging them to pay a reduced amount for their fines,” Major General Sheikh Sultan explained.
