A few weeks back, Elon Musk tweeted about the new Tesla Semi Truck telling that it will launch this September and will be ‘Seriously next level’. No other details were given by the CEO, however recently at the 2017 TED Conference in Vancouver, he revealed a teaser image of the Semi Truck, which gives us a pretty good idea what the automaker is aiming for its future vehicles.

The key thing to notice in the teaser is that the Tesla Semi Truck does not feature any side mirrors, which means it might feature a high-end camera system. Also, it is a possibility, the Semi Truck is a fully autonomous vehicle and the side mirrors are not necessary.

Reports indicate that Elon Musk described the vehicle as ‘Spry Truck’ and you can also drive it around like a sports car. The CEO himself also took a test drive of the truck in the parking lot of Tesla.

With the launch of the new Tesla truck, Elon Musk plans to reduce the cost of cargo transport while improving the overall safety measures. Of course, the truck will be capable of making long hauls.

More details will be uncovered by the automaker in the coming weeks.
