The Hyundai Sonata has remained one of the best-selling models by the automaker for a long time enjoying a good market position. For the 2018 model year, the Sonata has been upgraded with some impressive features that were showcased to the audience at the 2017 New York Auto Show. The 2018 Hyundai Sonata features a new cascading grille design along with tweaked headlamps and taillights, revised hood design and a set of new 16, 17 and 18-inch wheels.

The engines remain the same, which include a 2.4L four-cylinder and a 2.0L turbo. However, a new 8-speed transmission has been introduced, which can be paired to the 2.0L turbo-unit.

The interior has been enhanced too and feels more up-scale and premium. Additionally, the dials and switches on the center stack have been improved, and the infotainment system gets some new technologies as well.

Furthermore, the 2018 Hyundai Sonata also offers high-end safety features including vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, brake assist, tire-pressure monitoring system and more.

The automaker has not yet revealed the pricing details, but mentioned it will be launched by the end of second quarter of 2017. It may hit the UAE roads shortly after it arrives in the international markets.
