A few days back we saw the teaser image of the Infiniti QX80 Monograph Concept and now the automaker has fulfilled the desires of the fans by giving a full preview of the SUV.
The new Infiniti QX80 Monograph Concept was designed at the automaker’s studio in Atsugi, Japan. It gives us a good idea about the future Infiniti SUV models. Talking about the vehicle, Roland Krueger, President of Infiniti, mentioned the QX80 Monograph represents a detailed study of the company focused on exterior design and styling. He further stated the Monograph will be used as a base by Infiniti to extend its future vehicle lineup.
The Infiniti QX80 Monograph adopts some of the styling cues from the Q60 and forthcoming QX50. Up front, it features a large double-arch grille design with an aggressive bumper and sleek LED headlights. Infiniti has not mentioned anything regarding the powertrain, interior and the technologies inside. The current QX80 carries an upgraded 5.6L V8 engine, and we expect the same unit will be used in the QX80 Monograph.
Some reports indicate the “Monograph” nameplate will be used by Infiniti to separate its range-topping luxury models from the special Signature Edition models. More details will be uncovered as the Infiniti QX80 Monograph makes its debut at the New York Auto Show next week.
