Interested in checking out the Jaguar E-Type Reborn Coupe? Head over to the Techno-Classica Essen Show in Germany starting from April 5 – 9, where the British automaker will debut this impressive vintage car.
Jaguar will initially restore 10 Series 1 Jaguar E-Type Reborn models. The model up for display at the show will be a 1965 Series 1 Fixed Head Coupe 4.2. Each vehicle will be completely restored according to the original 1960’s model. The Jaguar classic parts will be used to ensure high quality and maximum durability.
The first Jaguar E-Type was exported to California in 1965 and covered 78,000 miles before it was stored in 1983. It features complete original equipment including the gearbox, engine and matching number body shell all reconstructed by the Jaguar Classic technicians.
If you are interested in buying the vintage car, Jaguar is also offering some ‘sympathetic upgrades’ such as a full synchromesh gearbox, cooling upgrades, front brake calipers from the Series 2 models and more.
This is not the first-time Jaguar is restoring its old models. The automaker previously reconstructed the Range Rover series too. The price starts at £285,000 and performance statistics indicate that the Jaguar E-Type Reborn could go from 0 to 60 mph in just 7 seconds with a top speed of 150 mph.
