Looking for the best fuel efficient city car, which has about 100 miles of range? The new Electric Seat e-Mii concept might be the option you were looking for. Revealed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Spain, the e-Mii concept carries a small 81 bhp electric motor and shares its underpinnings with the Volkswagen e-Up, which was introduced in 2013.

According to the automaker, the e-Mii concept will be capable of going from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in just 11.3 seconds with a top speed of 80 mph. It will have an estimated range of up to 100 miles and could be fully charged in nine hours through a standard household plug. The fast charger will take 30 minutes to charge about 80 percent.

Seat has not yet confirmed if the e-Mii will make production, but the CEO Luca de Meo has stated that it is an “appetizer” for the actual electric car the company plans to launch in 2019. The Seat e-Mii concept also extends numerous connectivity features such as a predictive navigation system, parking space finder and a mobile payment function.

If the Seat e-Mii does launch as a production model, it will surely be priced higher than the standard Seat Mii, which carries a price tag of £9,655.00 (approx. $12,000).
