As compared to the sales figures in 2015, Rolls Royce Motor Cars has recorded a gain of 6% in 2016 marking the company’s 113th year history of second highest sales. Around 4,011 cars were handed over to customers in over 50 countries.

The sales figures include America (up 12%), Europe (up 28%) and Asia Pacific (up 5%). Some global markets topped up their previous records of the brand’s sales including Japan (up 51%), Germany (up 30%), China (up 23%) and US (up 10%). The brand’s home market UK exceeded its sales to 26% compare to last year. Despite challenging political and economic conditions of the Middle Eastern markets, the Rolls Royce Motor Cars Dubai dealership achieved first position in terms of sales worldwide.

Torsten Muller Otvos, CEO Rolls Royce Motor Cars affirmed that 2016 was a successful year for the marquee and believes 2017 will be even more promising. Year 2016 also saw the expansion of the Rolls-Royce dealerships network to 136 by opening new branches of Rolls Royce Motor Car Studio in South Korea and a boutique style concept in Dubai.

The models that contributed in the success of the brand and achieve the second highest sales were Wraith and Ghost variants along with the new Black Badge versions. The Dawn dropdead was also went into production with the highest number of pre orders ever received by the automaker. The production of seventh generation Phantom was also ended in 2016 as it farewell attaining the title of the ‘Best Car in the World’. The new generation of Phantom is expected to hit the dealerships in late.
