Initiated in 1999 by the efforts of ENOC and Dubai Police, Tasjeel Vehicle Testing Service plans on increasing its network to 12 different sites within the next four years. Announced on Monday, the company claims to open six new branches in Dubai and the other six in the northern Emirates. The initiative was taken to deal with the population growth, increasing demands and rising number of vehicles.

In the year 2006, Tasjeel took control of vehicle testing from Sharjah Police becoming the only vehicle testing and registration service in Sharjah. Progressing through all these years, it tested over one million vehicles with a 15.4 percent revenue growth in 2015. Currently, Tasjeel runs eleven sites and five mobile units across Dubai, Sharjah, Khorfakkan, Hatta and Al-Dhaid.

The company is making fruitful investments in order to provide efficient and improved customer service. For this purpose, Tasjeel signed exclusive agreements with Copart UAE Auction, Emirates Auction, Itihad Auction, WWA Auction, Al-Wataniya Auction, Shift Car Rental, Automall, Hertz Rent-a-Car, Emirates Transport and Dubai Corporation.

In order to enhance the effectiveness of the test bay, the company prepares on employing tablets incorporating Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority system in test lanes. A number of technical testing facilities will also be offered to small, medium and large vehicles. Tasjeel looks forward to render quick testing and registration services to facilitate more customers.
