The new Hyundai i30 hatchback was recently unveiled at the 2016 Paris Auto Show and now we have just spotted its wagon variant test driving somewhere in Europe. This i30 Tourer will most likely launch in the United States as 2018 Hyundai Elantra Touring and will rival with the likes of Volkswagen Golf SportWagen, Ford Focus wagon and Opel Astra Sports Tourer.

Talking about the powertrain, the 2018 Hyundai Elantra Touring is expected to carry the same engine as the i30 hatchback. The front-wheel drive will be standard and the engine will most probably be mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission system.

Although it was covered, but we can infer the exterior design similar to the i30 hatchback, as it features the same sharp headlamp design, vertical daytime running lights and the front chrome grille.

The last Hyundai Elantra Touring model came out in 2012 and became popular due to its spacious interior and high-quality interior finishing. It was equipped with a 2.0L four cylinder engine churning out 138 horsepower.

The 2018 Hyundai Elantra Touring will most probably make its debut sometime in 2017 in Europe.
