Jaguar has revealed its latest Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV concept at the 2016 LA Auto Show and it is simply remarkable.

Talking about the design, it was already known that the automaker is working on an EV platform which will be used for both sedans and SUVs. Rumors were also circulating about the automaker working on an electric variant of the Jaguar F-Pace crossover. However, the Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV concept is built on an exclusive and new electric-vehicle architecture.

Jaguar claims the I-Pace will be capable of going over 300 miles on a single charge. It will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just four seconds. The car will carry a 90kWh lithium ion battery pack to power the electric motors producing a total output of around 395bhp and 700Nm of torque.

A lot of components used in the Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV concept are taken from the F-Pace SUV, such as, the front and rear suspension system. Though it will weigh approximately 2,100 kg, but Jaguar claims the aerodynamics will be phenomenal.

The production version of the Jaguar I-Pace will be unveiled by the end of 2017. The electric SUV will hit the dealerships sometime in 2018.
