General Motors recently introduced the 2017 Chevrolet Spark Activ, which appears to be sportier and aggressive compared to its predecessor. It comes with a number of exterior updates including a redesigned front grille pattern with an Activ logo and newly designed fog lamps with chrome trim.
The lower bumpers on both front and back have been revised too for a more rugged persona. Additionally, the new wheel design, metallic rocker moldings and standard roof rails add an overall distinct look to the 2017 Chevrolet Spark Activ.
The interior has also been upgraded and features premium leather front seats, leather wrapped steering wheel and some advanced technologies including a seven-inch infotainment display, backup camera, mounted steering wheel controls and more.
Under the hood, the 2017 Chevrolet Spark Activ carries the same 1.4L petrol engine as the existing 2016 model. It can be paired with either a manual transmission system or a CVT gearbox to deliver 98 horsepower.
The Spark will go on sale next year with a starting price tag of $16,945 for the manual transmission. The CVT equipped model will be sold for $18,045. The 2017 Chevrolet Spark Activ is currently on display at the 2016 LA Auto Show.
